PTO Weekly Update 10/21/15

DINE-OUT

The next TES-PTO Dine Out is tomorrow Thursday, October 22nd. The Dine Out will be at our local McDonald’s at 10595 Tierrasanta Boulevard. As part of the McDonald’s philosophy to give back to the communities they serve, a percentage of the sales generated from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. dine in or drive thru on October 22nd will be donated back to our school. No flyers are required. We invite everyone in our Tierrasanta/Murphy Canyon neighborhood to stop by, visit with neighbors, and support TES!  Spread the word to family and friends. “None of us is as good as all of us,” said Ray Kroc, the founder of the McDonald’s Corporation. TES appreciates your community spirit and generosity.

MONSTER MASH

Our annual Monster Mash Halloween dance is at the TES auditorium next Friday, October 30th!  DJ services are provided by All Around Mobile Music.  This event sells out, so please buy your tickets ahead of time.

There will be two dances:  4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tickets will be sold for $4 each before and after school until sold out starting on Monday.

Tickets will be $5 each at the door if the dance is not sold out.

Pizza, baked goods, and glow sticks will be available for purchase.  Light refreshments will be provided.

All ages are welcome.  A responsible adult must be in attendance for every four children. Under 2 are free, but everyone else needs a ticket.  Costumes must adhere to TES school dress code and have no wands, weapons, masks, or gore.

NOTE:  kids are not allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school during the regular school day, but they can wear them at the Monster Mash!

This dance is a fundraiser for 5th grade activities, and we need help from other 5th grade families!  5th grade parents, if you would like to donate water or snacks, please email Christine or Martha.

Also, we need help at the dances and selling tickets.  Please let us know if you can help us so that we can fund the year-end activities for all of 5th grade.  Thank you!
