Spring Picture Day is April 20th! Remember there is no make up day for this picture day so make sure you have your child ready to smile. Look for the forms being sent home next week if you want to choose which background you would like for your child. If you don’t end up choosing one, the background will default to #1. The background this year is a more neutral settings it may be best to choose solid colors. All students will receive a picture package approximately 2 weeks after picture day and if you don’t wish to keep the pictures, please just send them back to school with your child. If you choose to keep the pictures, pay accordingly to the directions/per sheet kept.

We are looking for 2 more parent volunteers to help with this event. Please email Shell Smith for more details if you would like to help out.

Dear TES Families,

You may have noticed the new mural on the side of the front office building. I hope you and your children enjoy the splash of color that makes our entrance more welcoming! A BIG thanks to artist Lesley Angelopoulos for designing and overseeing the entire painting process.  Thank you as well to the following volunteers who joined us to paint; Mrs. Felicia Cox (3rd grade teacher) and parents, Emily Krause and Kim Bliesener. We hope to complete another school mural before the beginning of next school year!

Dear TES Families,

All students attended an informational assembly last week on recycling! In an effort to be better stewards of our world and to help save the environment, we have started a lunch time recycling program to keep as much waste out of the landfills as possible.Monday (April 11th) was our lunch time launch and it went really well! Please continue to talk with your students at home about the importance of recycling and how they can help. Photos of our lunch time recycling station and the list of items that can and can’t be recycled are attached. Thank you!

In the meantime, any parents/grandparents etc. available to volunteer for the next several weeks would be greatly appreciated! Even if you can only volunteer one day a week we would love your help. Lunch time is from 11:30-12:10. If you are already registered as a school volunteer just come on in when you’re available. If you do not have volunteer paperwork on file, please see Janet in the front office or email her if you are able to help out. Thanks for your help during this transitional time!!!
