SPRING BOOK FAIR
The Spring Book Fair will be held Tuesday May 31st thru Friday, June 3rd in the TES Library. The Book Fair will be open every day from 7:30 am – 2:15pm, except Thursday, June 2nd which will be 7:30am-12:30pm and 5:30-7:30pm. Volunteers are needed for helping out with TK -1st grade classroom wish lists and take down. Please contact Christy Skoronski if you can lend a hand.

On the evening of the Open House and TES Art Show, Thursday, June 2, TES Grab-A-Slice for Science will be offering the chance to feed your family between 5:30-7:00 pm. Buy a slice of pizza and a lemonade for only $2.00. Whole pizzas will also be available. (Cash or checks only, please.) All proceeds benefit the TES Science Program.
Also, volunteers are needed for ½ hour shifts between 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to set up, cashier, serve pizza, or clean up. Kids make great helpers, too! Volunteering with your child is a great way to “give back” to our school. Please contact Adrienne Prager to say you can help.
AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (ASEP)
The ASEP Spring Session is coming to a close next week, with our last day of classes being June 10th. Look for the upcoming end of session special events on the PTO Facebook page this week. Thank you to those students and parents who have participated this year! If you have not already, please take a moment to fill out our short survey about your experience with ASEP, we’d really appreciate the feedback.
Did you know that in addition to the great experiences we offer our Roadrunners after school, ASEP is the second largest fundraiser for TES PTO?! We are pleased to announce that we will be continuing the program next year so keep an eye out for registration information. Also, if you are interested in volunteering, contact Kelley Valdez at email@example.com . We are looking for fun and willing parents who love our after school programs. We would appreciate your help whether you have an hour to donate or much more!

The topic for this Principal Chat will be the 2016-2017 Dual Language 50/50 Spanish Immersion Program. This program will begin next year for entering kindergarten students. If you have a child entering kindergarten or just want to learn more about the program please join us. Hope to see you there!
2nd Grade Field Day and BBQ
Dear 2nd Grade Families,
The annual 2nd grade BBQ is being held on Monday June 20th. Please check your classroom door for the sign-up sheets coming soon. The day consists of field day games and a hot dog BBQ. To make this possible we will need many volunteers from all 2nd grade classrooms. Watch for more information coming in Monday Folders, E-Blast, PTO Facebook page, and emails.
